Blood Splatter Nail Tutorial

Halloween is only 2 days away and since i am going
to dress up as a sexy zombie bride i decided to do the
blood splatter nails. I wanted to do this tutorial for you all
earlier incase you wanted to try it out for halloween
but there is still time ladies. :) It's easy, fun, but messy.
This was the final look.

Nail Polish:
Essie: Topless & Barefoot (Neutral)
Essie: First Dance (Red)
Effect with Straw (Skinny Starbucks)

So for this effect most people use a white base color but
i wanted to do more of a natural nail color.

1.The first thing you do is pour a couple drops of nail
polish onto either a paper plate or a plastic.

2. Dip the straw into the polish and twirl it a bit.

3. Put it on top of your nail and blow. (it may take a couple blows
before you get a good splatter, have patience)

And thats all you do.
This is very messy so make sure you have napkins
or a piece of paper underneath.

After you have done both hands you can just clean around
the edges with nail polish remover and a q-tip.
(you can put tape around your nails if you dont want all the mess)
Here are more pictures of the final look.

I hope you all enjoyed this tutorial and let me know if you
try it so i can check it out. :) Hope everyone has a safe & fun
halloween. I also hope all of you living in the new york
new jersey area stay safe from hurricane sandy.

Born Pretty Store-Nail Polish Review

Happy wednesday everyone! Hope everyone of you lovely readers are
having a great week. Today i am reviewing a product from

The product i am reviewing today is a Glow in the dark nail polish!
You can find the product Here and remember that all my readers receive
10% off with the code GGL91 so Happy Shopping!!!

I was very excited when i was contacted by and
even more excited when i received the product for review. So here it is
this is the Glow in the dark Nail polish.

I wanted to show you how it looks in the light and in the dark.
Here is a picture of the nail polish in the light & in the dark
on the bare nail. (i added 3 coats) I had the nails under the light
for a little but as you can see it doesn't show much
glow as it would with a white base.

And here is my favorite part, to get a better glow in the dark effect
i painted my nails with a white nail polish and then added 3 coats of the
Glow in the dark nail polish. Here is what the nails look like in the light.

I absolutely love how they look with the white underneath it
ended up looking  like a mint color and this is how they looked
in the dark (i had my hands under light
for a little as well) The color is more of a blue and i love it!!!

The application was very smooth and great. The smell was a bit strong
but its what you would expect from any nail polish. I personally think this
product is great and its only $4.99

Over all i loved this product!! Its so amazing how it looks and
it looks even better in person. :) This is definitely a must have in your
nail polish collection, and especially that halloween is right
around the corner. Make sure you check out and get
yours now. :) They have other colors too and remember for my readers
you get 10% off with the code GGL91

Tic-tac Toe Nail Tutorial

Looking around to get different ideas to do nail tutorials for all
you lovely readers and i came across tic-tac toe. Who doesn't love
that game? I also kept  one of my nail polish in pink to represent
breast cancer awareness :) What do you think?

Nail Polish:
Essie: Licorice
Essie: Peach Daiquiri
Pure Ice: Super Star
Top/Base Coat: Rimmel
Dotting Tools (Ebay)

First begin by painting your nails with a white polish like this.
I added 3 coats for a full coat.

Then paint your other nails black.

Once your nails are dry you can start the design.
You begin by drawing the hearts. To draw the hearts i use my
dotting tool, dipped it into the pink polish and added three dots like this..
(sorry that my fingers look a bit dry around the nail its my nail polish remover)

Then you dip it to get more polish and connect the dots forming it into
a heart. and you do that for your pinky as well.

Then you start by adding 2 vertical lines and 2 horizontal
lines to your thumb. Creating the tic-tac toe lines. :)

Then you start drawing the X's and the hearts.

You wait for your nails to dry add your top coat.
Then clean around the nail with nail polish remover and
your done. :) Here are a few more pictures..

What did you think? Is there any other design you would like to see
me do comment below and let me know!

Glitter & Zig Zag Nail Tutorial

Hi dolls, i hope everyone is having a fantastic monday.
Todays nail tutorial is fun and edgy! I love how it came out
and i know you will too. :)

Nail Polish:
Essie: Watermelon/Set in Stones
Pure Ice: Super Star
Black Nail Art Polish
Base/Top Coat: Rimmel
Dotting Tool (Ebay)

First of you begin by applying 2 coats of the nail polish
of your choice to your pinky, index and thumb.

Then you add the white polish to the two other fingers.
I used Pure ice so i added 3 coats for a full look.

After thats done you let your nails dry. In the mean time i
continue with my other hand. Once both hands are dry i add
the silver glitter to both of my ring fingers.

Moving on to the Zig Zag part. You begin by getting your dotting tool
or toothpick and you dip it into the black polish.

You now start by drawing zig zag lines on your middle finger one line at a
time and continue to do so until your nail is full.

They may or may not be perfect but the point is to have fun
with it. After thats done You wait for them to dry and add your
top coat & clean out the edges and thats it! Its a very edgy look
hope you all try it out. Here are the rest of the pictures
of how it turned out.
